If you’re like me when the end of October rolls around, you’re always looking for an easy last-minute DIY Halloween costume idea. These wire spider web earrings are a great way to be festive without having to spend a lot of time or money coming up with something to wear. Plus, if you’re kooky like me, you can probably get away with wearing these fun earrings at other times besides Halloween ;)
These earrings are a lot like the spider webs we used to make as kids, using popsicle sticks and string. Did you make those too??

DIY Spider Web Earrings
TOOLS + SUPPLIES:
• nylon jaw chain nose pliers
• round nose pliers
• chain nose pliers
• flush cutters
• 22 gauge (.6 mm) German Style Wire (or other half-hard round jewelry wire)
• 26 gauge (.4 mm) German Style Wire (or other round jewelry wire*)
• ruler
NOTES:
*It’s ok to use craft wire (Artistic Wire or Zebra Wire), or other dead soft wire for the 26 gauge wire since it doesn’t have to be structural. Craft wire comes in tons of great colors that might be fun to play with!
You will definitely want to use half hard or medium temper wire for the base spokes however, so they will hold their shape.
