Setting a cabochon in a wire-wrapped bezel is a somewhat involved process – the video is almost 30 minutes long – but I was surprised that it wasn’t nearly as difficult as I expected it would be. I encourage you to give it a try too!

• Beadalon 20g Fancy Square German Style Wire
• Beadalon 20g Half Round Wire
• Beadalon Wire Banding Pliers for 20-21 gauge wire
• Round Nosed Pliers
• Chain Nosed Pliers
• Flush Cutters
• Ruler or measuring tape

Very nice work! I also followed his tutorial but don’t really like the extra little swirlies he made. How did you finish yours without all the extra ends of wire that need to be finished off? Thanks for posting this!

Thanks so much! I didn’t like the swirlies either. I just made sure to give myself extra wire so I could form a complete loop for the bail (instead of banding it at the top like he did), and wrapped all those ends around the base of the loop. Hope that makes sense?
