There are many possibilities for how to make adjustable wire bracelets but I definitely have a preferred method for beginners. This method will show you how to make an adjustable wire bangle using memory wire.
I recommend using memory wire to make these bracelets because it won’t bend out of shape like many other jewelry wires. It also doesn’t require any shaping or work hardening so there aren’t a lot of tools (like bracelet mandrels and hammers) involved. This is by far the fastest and easiest way to make adjustable wire bracelets!

DIY Adjustable Wire Bangle Bracelets
TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
• memory wire (bracelet size)
• memory wire shears
• round nose pliers
• chain nose or flat nose pliers
• 24-26 4mm beads* (I used these)
• misc charms and dangles, ready-made
As I mentioned in the video, you always ONLY ever want to cut memory wire with memory wire shears to avoid ruining your good flush cutters. Memory wire is made of steel, which is much harder than most other jewelry wire materials, so it can wreak havoc on your regular tools. For this reason, I also prefer to use my heftier round nose and chain nose pliers when working with memory wire.
Memory wire tends to be about 22 gauge (~ .64mm in diameter) so you’ll need to be sure you choose beads with holes large enough to fit over the memory wire. Your best bet will be to use glass beads or crystals because they tend to have larger holes compared to gemstones.
*I have several colors of these 4mm Czech glass beads in my Etsy shop. I sell in small quantities, so if you would like a wider variety of colors and larger quantities, this is my recommended source.

Jessica, thanks for the video and easy-to-follow guide on these wire bracelets. And good recommendation to only use memory wire shears – I’ve ruined a pair of flush cutters before… (sigh).
