Love the pillow gift box. It is so pretty, and so simple to make. And can be made in different sizes to fit whatever piece of jewelry you have. This would be so much easier then the little bags that I make for my jewelry. These would be great to cut out the boxes to have on hand but don’t actually put them together till ready to ship your piece out, easier to store that way. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful tutorial.
Pinning and sharing (-;
I lovet his DIY stuff! I’ve been wanting to learn how to do this but I just cant find time to do so. I’m glad I;ve come across your page, this Christmas season gives me reason to start my pillow box. Thanks for sharing this!
I love this idea. I have been looking for something similar, that I can use to ship with my jewelry. I can ship it flat and thus save the customer some money on shipping fees, and it looks so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing, this is just so valuable and I can’t thank you enough.
Thank you for the excellent video and sharing the pillowbox template! I watched several videos this week and all seemed so complicated for a simple box. I am going to start using these to ship earrings instead of the drab boxes that cost so much. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was able to use your template and re-size it for the various pieces of jewelry that I sell. They look awesome and I’m really proud of them. Thanks, again.
That’s wonderful, Michele! I’m so glad to hear it, and it’s absolutely my pleasure :)
Thank you very much for this template! I love the pillow box and it so easy and elegant for packaging! :D
I found your blog recently and I think it’s beautiful! Thank you very much! :D
I know I’m a little (ok, a lot) late to this post, but I just wanted to say, awesome tutorial, thanks for template! I converted it to work with my Silhouette Cameo and used the “perforate” setting for the score lines. I had a completed box in less than two minutes!
Hi Sandra!
You’re very welcome, and that’s a wonderful idea – very cool! I’m so glad this worked out for you :)
Thanks so much for visiting,

Just made the pillow package. It is cute and so easy. Thanks!
Wonderful! They are, aren’t they?! Thanks so much for stopping by, Dorothy :)
Hi there! I made the pillow box as-is and it turned out great! However, I would like to resize it — I notice that in your description, you mention using a photo editor to resize, but I’m am unfamiliar with how to do that. Could you offer some suggestions/help on that? Thanks so much!
Hi Terry!
It will depend on what software you use to edit your photos but the general idea is the same for most. If you’d just like to change the size then you can increase or decrease the image usually by percentage. If the program has a ruler tool that might be handy so you can see what the actual size will be. Or, you could even just resize it when you’re printing – for example, print at 110% or at 80%, etc., instead of messing with a photo editor.
If you can find a ‘transform’ tool in your photo editor then you can stretch out or squash the image (if you’d like to change the proportions and make say, a square box instead).
I hope that makes sense! Thanks so much for visiting – I’m glad you like the boxes :)

This is GREAT!!!! Thank you for sharing this idea. I was looking for something different that I could use for my jewelry pieces and this is excellent. This will allow me to chose the type of paper and labeling to fit my packaging uniquely – thanks a million!
